Nextbook 8 SE touch screen not as sensitive, have to tap items twice

Hello, Sounds like you have a virus or spybot on your nextbook. You will either have to reload the software or get a spybot/virus cleaner and use it.

On some touch screen device, the tough part of the screen won't work when it has a crack. So it ill be difficult to unlock the screen as long as it has a crack. Ask yourself if it is worth repairing the screen, when you know what a repair shop asks for the repair and what a new device costs.

check to make sure your wifi is a good connection

Open your nextbook`s internet browser > tap bookmarks > history then you can view your device`s history

All you need to do is tap and hold on the text until the word is highlighted. Then put your fingure on the dot at the edge to drag the highlight over all the text you wish to copy. A dialogue will appear for you to select all, copy or delete. If it's a picture you wish to copy, just tap and hold anywhere and select copy. Go to the position in the document (or another app) and tap and hold where you want to place the item. Select paste and your done.

Have you tried reopening the cover and re-seating your digitizer cable?

You connect your Nextbook to YOUR WiFI HOME NETWORK (not the Internet) FROM THE NEXTBOOK, not from the laptop. On your Nextbook, go to Settings then Wi-Fi. If your Nextbook is already connected to your WiFi home network you will see the network's name there and you are done. If it is not connected, a list of available WiFi networks appears. Tap on the name of your home network and it will connect to it. If your network is password-protected, you will be asked to enter it.

If it wont show anything then there may be a problem with the launcher( the program that loads all of your apps and widgets). If you cant get to the settings then consider having a tech professional look at it and dont touch anything if you have no clue what it does i've learned that the hard way.

Do not panic. Go to the "Settings", then tap "Accessibility". In "Services" turn off "taking..." to go back to normal.
