Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC)
Replace the ERC there are ten screws 3 on each side and 4 on the control leave the hex screws alone all you need is a phillip screwdriver.
REMEMBER TO SHUT OFF THE POWER FIRST lift and fold out the control panel remove the ribbon cable and remove the four screws that hold the control board . replace control panel in reverse order.
Good Luck!!
Have a nice Day!!
Thanks
SOURCE: none of my stove top bunrers work but the oven
some times there is a fuse in the back by the switches or it could be a broken wire in the back.
SOURCE: WE have a GE Stove top Range. The burners aren't
If you have power to the stove as in the oven light works and the clock works but the burners and oven will not work you only have 120 volts coming to the stove. The stove requires 240 volts for the burners and oven to work. Check the service panel for a blown fuse. There will be 2 fuses in the fuse holder. One of them is blown. If that is not the case then one of the wires has come loose either in the service panel or in the outlet behind the stove. Use a multimeter to check the input voltage at the outlet.
SOURCE: I need the owners manual for the GE stove/oven
Owners manual is here: http://genet.geappliances.com/DocSearch/pdf/49-4629.PDF
You can probably find the part by using google -- I am about to buy a switch for a similar range.
