Ok...the music store, Peavey distributor has had to keep switching power units and sending the defective ones back to the company. There are only two microphones plugged into the unit at any given time.

There MAY be a circuit trace on a board that is cracked OR a poor soldered connection. It is vibration sensitive as you have found. Changing a switch vibrates the unit.
Depending on what you have connected, this could even ba a bad input jack.
The unit needs to be serviced. You could open it and see if there is something obvious.

What do you mean they "switch off"??? If the heaters in all the tubes go out, check the fuse for the heaters, F2 and its fuse clips/holder.
There really is nothing in the circuit to make them "switch off"
If the heaters in the EL34's "switch off", the other tubes should go out as well.

I don't believe there is a power "outlet" on this, only an "inlet".
Usually the inlet will have a lead, often green, that goes to the chassis.
There will usually be two other wires, often black and white that connect to the other two pins.
From the back of the connector, with the center pin tied to the grenn wire of the triangle lower, the pin to the right should be the white and the pin to the left is the black wire

Either have it fixed or offer it up as broken at auction.
Estimating cost is near impossible, however labor could easily be aver $100.
The fan is controlled by a rather complex circuit depending on thermistor temp sensors. The temp sensors appear to also shutdown the amp.
If the fan comes on instantly, there MAY be a failure in this circuitry which is inexpensive parts...
Each side of the amp has 10 major power transistors and if all were blown it would add significant parts cost to the repair.
Testimonial: "Thank you for the information, I'll may have to send it away to a Peavey repair centre to get to the root of the problem, I'll have a think about it."

Check w dealer about warranty - I thought it was 2 years? Great amps when they're working! I love my tone on it! :)
