open the machine & just clean all the parts.Apply some grease & refix

V & B US customer service number used to be 877-505-5350 it has been a while since I used it, but they were very helpful when I did. Hope this helps.

Your question has been posted under the heading of Villeroy & Boch. If this is the brand you are working on then the flush valve is set up like the old Mansfield Fush valves and is replaced in the same way. But if VB is the brand you might try calling 877-505-5350 it is or was their US number. Hope this helps.

V & B toll free number was 877-505-5350. I hane only worked on one in 25 years and they were very helpful. Hope this gets you in the right direction.

It won't drain? Is the tank draining? Is the water turned off? Or is it just plugged up?

This problem is either two things:

1/ The water inlet valve is letting by and going down the overflow pipe. (Connected to the main centre column). You can check this by taking off the lid off.

2/ Centre column seal at the base is letting by. You can unclick the centre column by pushing the two paddles either side.

Then lift out the centre column and check the grey washer at the base. You can turn this washer around and see if this solves - if not the column has probably has a part snap off.
