SOURCE: whirlpool electric dryer keeps tripping main circuit breaker

First off, be sure the pigtail is wired correctly to the back of the unit. Black and red to the outside terminals, white to the middle, green to the frame or cabinet (should be a green screw close-by). If that is ok, you probably have an issue with possibly a bad pigtail, bad outlet, wiring issue, or possibly a bad circuit breaker or breaker box. Probably going to be more of a electrical problem than a appliance problem. Good Luck!!!!

SOURCE: my ac circuit breaker keep tripping

If your outside condenser has a locked rotor or short circuit, than the unit WILL trip the breaker - as it should. On the other hand if a breaker is tripped a few times it will have less of a capacity that the rating, (this is designed in it). You will need to determine if the unit is locked (and broken) or the breaker has become too sensitive.

SOURCE: Ground Fault circuit Breaker trips each time a load is applied

The most likely causes in their order of probability are: 1) water somewhere in the circuit causing the hot wire to ground; 2) a legitimate trip caused by a defect in a device plugged into the circuit; and 3) a defective GFCI breaker. In the first case, wait until it has been dry for about a week and see if it trips. In the second case, make sure there is nothing plugged into the circuit and try resetting. In the third case go ahead and put the regular breaker in, then put a GFCI outlet into the first box downstream from the breaker. If installed according to the directions, that outlet should protect all of the outlets downstream.

You likely have a bad motor control board. Give CircuitBaordRepair.net a call. They may have a replacement or be able to fix yours.

Can the motor control board cause the house circuit breaker to trip?

It's unlikely. An internal fuse would blow first, I'm assuming. If you've diagnosed this far you sound capable of continuing. Electricity is dangerous!!! I would remove all things from the board, 1 by 1 plug each component into board until the breaker trips. That should pinpoint what is tripping breaker. I would assume a motor.

I just put together a Sole f63 treadmill (it took forever). I turned the power button on and the display lit up. I pressed the start button and the display shut off. I can't get the display to turn back...

First of all, make SURE that the unit is NOT plugged into a ground fault circuit interrupt (GFCI) outlet. Make sure that the safety key (or safety tether cord's magnet) is on the round metal portion of the console control's head. (It will NOT operate without this in place because it's a safety feature. Also check the circuit breaker under the console, & push it in until it clicks (if it has been tripped (it would extend out if tripped)). Make sure that the power cord is fully inserted in the appropriate power outlet & that the building/home's circuit breaker has not tripped. Otherwise, call your dealer to replace what would be a defective treadmill.

Precor 9,31 treadmill tripping internal breaker

You may want to check how many outlets or other items that you have on the breaker. When those treadmills go faster, they draw a lot of amperage. Not much that you can do except for unplugging what you aren't using on that circuit until you are done. If you run an extension cord to another circuit, that draws even more amperage or hire an electrician to install a larger breaker for you.

Lcd television trips circuit breaker when plugged in to wall outlet. Problem started yesterday after wall mounting the unit.. Removed wall mount and it still happens (worked fine before wall mounting...

I would check 2 things. If the TV trips another breaker in the house of the same rating, you probably have a short in your TV and will need to have it serviced.(You didn't drop it did you? :-) ) The short may also occur by too much stress on the power cord where it enters the TV, common to need to cram the cord into small spaces when wall mounting. If the TV only trips that particular breaker, I would try replacing the breaker. Replacing the breaker costs very little and will only take you a few minutes. You can buy a replacement breaker at most hardware stores. Just make sure to disconnect the main supply first! Also, make sure the breaker is rated correctly, using a higher amperage breaker will increase your chances of starting a fire.
