Cannot get rid of red X left hand side of Doro 6520 mobile phone - it has been like it all day!

You are losing signal and cannot connect to the network. Signal strength may be affected by weather or other conditions. You might find the X disappears when you change location, for example. So, the problem may be in the environment, in the network, or in the SIM card. If it is a bad SIM card, such has to be replaced. If it is a network problem, you would have to contact your service provider. And you can't do much about the weather other than try the phone is a different location. Generally, a red X means a function is not available and you have to go into setup to enable the function. But in this case, you are having network connection problems where the phone cannot detect the signal.

WHY DO I LOSE MY CONNECTION TO THE NET WITH MY CELL-C HUAWEI E1752 3G USB INTERNET STICK BEFORE MY ACTIVE DATA BUNDLE HAS DEPLETED?

If the device has worked for you in other locations, the most likely answer is that you have low signal strength from your network carrier to your device. To test if low signal strength is the problem, try moving your laptop to another location, closer to the cell tower you think might be servicing you to see if it starts working. If your laptop connect software has the ability to show you the signal strength, look to see how many dBm the signal strength is. The larger the negative number, the worse it it. Below -85 dBM, you will have frequent drop outs.
-75 to -80 dBm should give you usable results. -65 dBM and lower should give you very good results. If you can only find the strength in bars, 1 or 2 bars is bad, 3 bars marginal, 4 & 5 bars useful to good. You can buy repeater devices which pick up cell signals and rebroadcast them, making them stronger for you laptop to pick up the cell signal. They usually have an external antenna port which you can put outside and high to help pull in the signal. Trees, hills, and rain all block and lower the signal strength between you and the cell tower. Distance is also a big factor.

Huawei mobile AIRTEL

You can go to the settings then check the user name and password. If the user name and password is not correct then you will not get the signal or the data card that you are using over there the network signal strength is not good.

Samsung sgh-m200 has no network

No Network error only appear if your phone is not getting the service provider's signal. You need to check the status of your account from your mobile service provider by calling them. You can also check if the sim is properly inserted. You can also check the capability of using compatible sim card to your phone to isolate faulty sim card issues. Try to insert the sim card to another compatible phone as well. if sim card to another compatible phone works then there is a problem from your phone's end by getting a signal.

No netwerk

Hi,

This is a simple issue don't worry.First please remove the battery and remove the SIM card and see weather it is being damaged or you can see scratches on the gold plating.Take some cotton and dip it on kerosene and clean it nicely on the edges of the gold plating of the SIM card..Now place it correctly and switch on the phone. Some time loose contact may cause this problem and scratches too....If
still the problem persist check with other Sim card of your friends or family members..
If other SIM card is work's fine then it your SIM card must be replaced by your service provider.Ask him for a free replace..else the Sim card
connector is damaged you have to solder or replace it.If you don't have any hands on,take it to nearest service center.

Note:some time signal strength of the network provider might be weak so it will say no network.Go to any outdoor area and check for good signal reception.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Ii got a unlocked iphone had signal for the first hur or too now has none even tho it says orange has no bars and cant txt or call or recive

Reset the iPhone:
It has been observed that simply resetting the iPhone can resolve signal strength issues.
Reset network settings:
In some cases resetting the network settings has also helped so tap Settings, tap General, tap Reset, tap Reset Network Settings.
This will restart your iPhone and will also delete any stored Wi-Fi passwords as well as DNS settings and more.

Place your SIM card again:

If your iPhone’s SIM card is not placed properly, it has been observed that it can affect signal strength.
So a good idea would be to remove your iPhone's SIM card by pushing a straightened paper clip into the small hole on the top of the device to open the SIM tray, then check for debris inside the tray or SIM card slot, remove it by blowing into the slot or using compressed air and then placing the SIM card properly and then re-inserting the SIM tray.
The notion is that improper SIM contact can result in a weak signal, so the above procedure could help.
Attaching scotch tape to the SIM card:
This is indeed the most ingenious methods, it appears that attaching a small piece of scotch tape to the outer side of the iPhone’s SIM card (the side of the SIM card that does not have metal contacts) can result in a surprising boost again borrowing from the notion that improper SIM contact can result in a weak signal.

No network coverage

Phone is not receiving any radio signal / received signal is too weak:
Confirm that network coverage is available where you are by contacting your service provider.

SIM card is not working properly:

Insert your SIM card into another phone
Note: Contact your service provider if you get the same message again.
Phone is not working properly:
Insert your SIM card into another phone. If the second phone works with the inserted SIM card, then
the problem is probably with the first instrument.

Note: In this case, contact your nearest Sony Ericsson service center regarding your phone problem.
