and Try also

PREPARE
Step 1: Make sure you have 48 ounces of white vinegar on hand. You will also need an empty sink and a ceramic mug (do not use a paper cup.)
Step 2: Empty the water in the Water Reservoir b. FILL AND CLEAN
Step 1: Pour the vinegar into the Water Reservoir and fill it to the top edge of the clear viewing area.
Step 2: Place a ceramic cup in the Drip Tray and run a brew cycle. DO NOT USE A K-CUP…just press the Large Cup Button. Pour the contents of the cup into the sink.
Step 3: Repeat the brew process until the Water Reservoir is empty, pouring the contents of the cup into the sink after each cycle. Remember to open and close the lid between each cycle.
Step 4: Now fill reservoir with fresh water and let the Brewer stand for 4 hours while still on.
Step 5: Rinse the Water Reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water. c. RINSE Step 1: Ensure the Water Reservoir is filled with fresh water.
Step 2: Place a ceramic cup on the Drip Tray and run a regular brew cycle. Pour the contents of the cup into the sink.
Step 3: Repeat the brew process until the Water Reservoir is empty. Step 4: You may need to perform additional brew cycles if you notice any residual taste.

Regular cleaning (de-scaling) will prolong the life of the appliance. Scale is harmless, but left unattended, it can hinder optimal Brewer performance. De-scaling your Brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, water reservoir and other parts of the Brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee. We recommend de-scaling your Brewer at least every 6 months (every three months if you are using hard water). The descaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar.

Regular cleaning of the Brewer’s external components is recommended for proper operation. We recommend cleaning with a soapy, damp non-abrasive cloth. The K-Cup holder and funnel, drip plate, drip tray and removable water reservoir (on the Elite B40, Special Edition B60, and Platinum B70) are dishwasher safe. NOTE: the removable lid of the water reservoir is NOT dishwasher safe. The brewer should be descaled every 3-6 months.

SOURCE: One cup brewer, says it is brewing, but the

If the brewer heats the water but it doen not dispense this is probably because air is trapped in the tubing of the water system.

To solve, use as air compresser with minimum pressure (20-25 psi) and force air through the system using an air nozzle that is long enough to reach into the hole into the area where you fill the water. Place your hand under the dispenser and ensure you can feel the air from the compressor coming through.

Once you clean out the lines, you should be good to go.

We have had our coffee maker sitting on our shelf "broken" for months now. We tried this last ditch effort before tossing the machine in the trash and low and behold it worked! :)

SOURCE: Keurig only brews about 2-3 oz. of coffee.

Doesn't sound like a descaler issue. I am having problems with mine and noticed that water is flowing back into the reservoir when it is pouring into the coffee cup. I think there is a valve that is not closing properly.

How to reset keurig b40

1. There is some confusion over models. I've seen "B40" models and instructions with only one size cup button, both labeled B40. I own one stamped "B40" on the bottom, and it has two buttons -- small and large. FWIW, small = 8 oz, large = 10 oz.

2. These reset instructions from another site seemed to do something
What to Do If Your Keurig Won Brew Cup Barista

So.. this is what I did that worked for mine: 1) Hold down Auto-Off and LARGE cup at same time. (all lights should hold steady ON) 2) press SMALL cup while still holding Auto-Off and LARGE cup 3) Release all three, press LARGE cup again.. all lights should go off. 4) Unplug for about 5 - 10 second, plug back in. SHOULD WORK!

3. On *_my_* B40, remove the K-cup, close the door, fill the reservoir. Unplug and replug the B40. All lights should be off.

Pressing "Auto Off" and "Large Cup" together will turn on 3 lights (Heating, Add Water, Power) for about 3 seconds. Doesn't matter how long the buttons are pressed or what order they are released.

I tried lots of add-on combinations: e.g. press button x, press x multiple times, press x while lights are still on, press x after lights are off, press buttons x and y together, press x then y, press x and/or y while still holding Auto and Large, release Auto but not Large and press x, etc.

Nothing gave any confirmation that a reset was accepted. All lights always turned off after 3 seconds. Maybe Reset is only 1 step, i.e. Auto+Large together?

I have the Keuirg mini plus and i just opened it. It flashes red like it is heating and then just turns off. No brewing.

Same here. (I have the Mini Plus B31) Called Keurig and these are the steps they walked me through. Not sure which part actually fixed the problem, but it worked.

1. Turn off machine. Using a paperclip clean out the holes in the needles (3 in the top, one in the bottom of the k-cup holder).

2. If water is inside the heating core (assuming it is as nothing happened when you tried to brew), with the machine turned off, press and hold the brew button. After 5 seconds the pump will kick on and discharge the water. Make sure you have a cup in place to catch the water.

3. Dispose of that water.

4. Unplug the machine.

5. Wait 5 seconds.

6. Plug machine back in.

7. Turn on.

8. Run empty cycle without a k-cup and only use the minimum amount of water (6 oz).

9. Dispose of that water after it brews (hopefully).
If still nothing is happening, call Keurig.

10. Brew your coffee, tea, choco, etc.

Note: was told by Keurig rep that whenever you use hot chocolate, to run an empty rinse cycle afterwards before brewing another cup. This will help prevent any choco from going up inside the machine and possibily blocking the water flow.

Hope it works! Mine did after following these instructions. The rep also wanted me to measure the amount of water that came out afterwards. Not sure what the next step would be because my call got dropped, but the machine works. Sipping on a cup now...

Have you tried following the descaling procedure given in your owner's manual? The mineral build-up from hard water can cause low flow, and since the machine pumps for a fixed time this means less water in the cup. Descaling usually brings back normal operation.
