Try using a different browser and see if it's doing the same thing. if you're using internet explorer, you can download firefox at www.mozilla.com or google chrome. if it's doing the same thing, the problem is with your computer, not with facebook.

I always have to log in

It is for making your Facebook account more secure, if you want to keep you logged in Facebook, you can check the option "Remember me".
Also it may happen if your Internet Explorer settings has set to automatically delete history, passwords, active log ins and your cache every time you close your browser.

You can change the settings by following the steps given below:

Open Internet Explorer browser, open "Tools" menu and then under the 'General tab' you see browsing history
Uncheck the 'Delete browsing history upon exit'. You are done!

Can't log out the Facebook site is not loading

Check out your internet connection, it might have the limited range for the connectivity. Shut down you explorer and try to open few secs later.
Also try to open other websites or try other web browsers, if that works well you will be able to logout from the Facebook account.

I have been trying to get on facebook but everytime I try an error message from Internet Explorer pops up saying "cannot display webpage" Please help

Open Internet Explorer, click on tools then internet options. In the first tab, under browsing history select delete... have check marks in everything except Form data, Passwords, and InPrivate Filtering data. Now click delete. Depending on how full you histroy is, this can take a bit to complete. Once completed, close IE and try to log back into facebook. If this still does not work, search for facebook on google, and try again. If the search option works, delete you current shortcut to facebook and re-add from the open page.

I hope this helps

My ex husband shares a computer with me he has gmail account and i have yahoo account. everytime i try to get on my facebook account his shows up what should i do

Hi,

If you wish to login to your Facebook account on a shared computer, you will first have to log out of the Facebook account of the person who last used your computer. To do this, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)

Then login to your account by entering your login id and password. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post.

CANT LOG ON TO MY FACE BOOK SAYING ALL INFO WRONG

First, try accessing your email (the one associated with facebook), and make sure that the user name and password is working correctly.Then try accessing facebook.

If you can access your email account, but not the facebook, try to clear the cookies and internet files of your browser. Here's how:

* For Internet Explorer:
1. Run Internet Explorer and click on 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to Internet Options and locate the Browsing History section.
3. Click the 'Delete' button and delete the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History.
4. Close the Internet Explorer and re-open it.
5. Access your e-mail.

* For Mozilla Firefox:
1. Run Firefox and hit 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to 'Clear Recent History' and click the drop-down arrow for 'Time range to clear'.
3. Select 'Everything' and then hit the 'Clear Now' button.
4. Close and re-open Firefox
5. Access your e-mail.

Good luck!

I try to log onto facebook & it keeps shutting down my internet explorer.

Just to get a baseline on where your problem is, you might download a new browser (shouldn't take long) and try from there.

If it works, then you'll probably just want to re-install IE or stay with the other browser.

I recommend you try downloading and installing Firefox (www.mozilla.com/firefox/)
