Recently I changed the password on my V-safe 100 application to shorten it down but I could not get it correct. I ejected the drive after the 5th warning but when I plugged it in again and tried the password I was given the 6th and final warning. I ejected it again but now when I click on the V-safe logo it asks to set up a new V-safe folder with a new password and hint, warning me that if I continue it will be formatted and I will lose my data. Is there anyway I can get more tries for the password so I don't lose my data within the secure folder?
If you are talking about the Sim Card on a phone. Then you cannot change the password. In order to do you. You have to talk to your Phone Maker.....

Unfortunately, you can NOT access your user data and applications on the device without a password.
If you think you are entering the correct password, ensure that CAPS lock or NUM lock is not turned on. You should try to type your password in another application (like word or email) to ensure that it is being entered correctly. This can help you see if CAPS lock, NUM lock, or a sticky key is causing the password to actually be entered incorrectly.
Password attempts
There's a set number of attempts before U3 locks your device and you have to reformat it.
Reformatting will delete all files and applications on the flash drive.
Password hint
If you set a hint when you enabled the password protection, click Hint in the log in window to display the hint you entered. If you did not set a hint or still can not remember your password you will have to reformat the drive.
Reformatting will delete all files and applications on the flash drive.
It is recommended to keep a backup of all the data on your U3 device on your PC for safe keeping.
During the boot up process you will see on the screen press delete to enter set up
Press either delete or f2 during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password you can change or remove your password from there
hope this helps
