Two warning tones, washer cycles all flashing.

Washer has stopped working. All three cycles are flashing continually with only two warning tones. Trying to find out if two tones means something in particular. Checked everything else; filters look fine. The water drained but won't come back in. Could not find float switch. Doubt it's a kinked hose. I think my main questions is: what do two warning tones signify?

We put a large pan in the washer that blocked the upperr from rotating so water wasn't allowed into the machine. I'm wondering if this somehow this blocked the flow and the machine has a safety that I need to reset. Don't know how to do that. With the upper sprinkler blocked, I'm wondering if any damage was caused.

SOURCE: Favorit 44070Vi 3 short warning tones

It is most likely to be the wash pump leaking underneath, the float switch lies underneath the dishwasher, if you tip it back slightly you will probably find that water will leak out, that will prove that it is leaking and it will probably work a couple of times after this but it isn't the answer i'm afraid, a wash pump is not really the sort of thing you should tackle yourself.

SOURCE: dishwasher won't drain

If you hear the motor running when it is to be draining you may have a busted pump impeller. Also locate and check the round looking cap it will move up and down by your hand pull it up if it is stuck at the bottom this is your float level it goes up and down with the water level the pump will not switch over if it is stuck on the bottom if it is stuck it is telling the dishwasher it is empty of water. and last but not least your wash timer may be out.

F&P washer lights on and beeps

Clogged pump stopped up drain. If the washer does not think all water was pumped out in 8 minutes then it shuts down. Slow drain is my first inclination.

Washer continues to work even if water is not filled to top and even if i try to stop continues to spin

A defective pressure switch can interfere with the cycles that depend upon the switch to indicate when water has filled or emptied from the tub. It can also result in underfilling or overfilling of the tub. The switch routes current from the timer control to the temperature switch and the water inlet valve when the tub needs to be filled. Once full, the pressure switch cuts the current and reroutes it to the motor on the timer control to continue the cycle.
