The driver files for Model 3090 will not work with Model 3090A/3090AF, or vice versa. So This driver supports WINDOWS VISTA 64-BIT systems only.
If you are using Vista 64 bit, Go to

the drivers that work in 64bit don't work in 32bit 64bit windows on a 64bit processor would work faster and more efficiently than a 32bit version of windows, i'd recommend against installing 32bit Win7 when you already have 64bit
if you do end up downgrading visiting the Compaq site and looking in their downloads section should lead you to some drivers for your laptop
however, if you got Win7 64bit as stock with your laptop 32bit windows might not be supported by the manufacturer
Best thing for you to do is go on the manufacturer site ... of the modem and go under support and download the latest drivers and software for the modem. There has probably been some updates since the modem has been sitting on the store shelf that address your problem installing the software. I hope this helps.
Ooh, that's a sticky one, and unusual. You're talking about technologies at the opposite ends of the spectrum. Kodak DC120 is a windows 98 orientated 1999 digital camera which needs the kodak viewer software to convert the images (a very regretful step from Kodak). You want to put this software on a 64bit Vista OS.
I really can not see it happening. You can try, but in the most unlikely to work.
The Kodak camera had a resolution of 1.2megapixels, less than mobile phones now a days. Although it is a very robust and reliable camera, a childs camera from a supermarket for $20 will produce better results.
Albeit, I do have the software, old original CD from 1999, 'Kodak Picture Postcard Software'.
I need some direction on this - I don't know if I can post contacts here to get this to you. Can a moderator assist????
