OK,
1. On the power inverter board unplug all 6 wires that go to the LCD screen.
2. Test each of those ports for resistance.( the one without the resistance is the bad one.)
3. Or, test each port for Voltage output ( this will happen very briefly since the TV will turn itself off automatically).( The one without voltage will be the bad one).

I've been working on Televisions since 1975. I have unfortunily had experience with this model 4 times in the last 2 months. The problem is the same in all sets. First off it is made by Funai in Malaysia and that should tell you the whole story. All the sets that have come through this shop are in the dumpster now. This BLC320EM9 is made just for Wally World and you cann't get parts for them due to a contract between Funai and Wal-Mart. I'm affraid this is just the beginning of your headaches with this set. It has a multitude of other problems... Wish I could have brought you better news. Dan@DBS

I've had the same problem with a 32" model LC320EM82S. All the Emerson TV ( no matter what size ) are having the same issue.
I'm sure with your TV, the green light is blinking before the TV automatically turns OFF. Basically, the TV is trying to power up the screen and has failed. Protection mode turns the TV OFF to prevent other parts from being damaged inside.
My solution for fixing my TV was replacing one bad inverter transformer of six on the Backlight Inverter/Power Board. Here is what my board looks like:
You can see the six inverter transformer on the bottom of the board. It's what supplies power to the screen. Your board may look similar.
You can sometimes find a whole replacement board over the internet for a good price. Shopjimmy.com is a good place to start. Just start searching by your TV model number.
If you have some electronic experience, you can repair the board itself by finding a Service Manual over the internet for less than $20. It will have all the part numbers, schematics, and diagrams you need. I would investigate the inverter transformer for your problem.
I hope I helped you out with your problem.
