My sansa 4gb clip is not recognised by my computer. The computer will not acknowlege the usb either... My sansa has run out of battery. What can I do????

Hai, i have sansa clip 2gb with the same problem. one ultimate answer i got is Sansa clip uses Media Transfer Protocol(MTP). Sandisk(maker of salsa clip) know about the problem which cannot be solved(the earlier sansa products are to be avoided). There is no solution with the company.

My computer will not recognise SanDisk Clip

See if you can download the driver for it on Sandisks site, this should make it possible for your computer to recognize it. You may also want to try a different usb cord, USB cords go faulty quite easily.

My sansa clip ipod is not recognised by any computer

On your sansa, go to "Settings" then System Settings" then "USB Mode," then change it to MSC, if that does not work, try the other modes, just n case.
Hope this helps!

Computer won't reconize my sandisk mp3 player

Hi, just had the same problem after restoring my system.

You must disconnect and update your Windows Media Player to Number 11. My reinstall left me at WMP 9 and it wouldn't recognise my Clip. Go to the Windows website, follow the download instructions, and you should be fine. When you plug in the Sansa Clip or MP3, it should recognise it right away. Hope this helps!

Connecting Problem

Unplug your Sansa. Uninstall all the Sansa software from your computer, and reinstall the clean version from the Sandisk website. Then, replug the Sansa.

Sansa clip installation

What you need to do is update your Windows Media Player. I believe it has to be WMP10 and higher. Let me know if that works. Oh and you also need at least Windows XP Service Pack 2. so update your windows software

My computer wont recognize my mp3

I know this is only part of the solution:
- turn off your sansa clip
- put the slide button on hold
- press the centered button while connecting the sansa clip to your pc
the sansa clip will now be visible as a removable disk under 'my computer' :-)

I don't yet know how to proceed from here on
