Hy i install window 7 in imac desktop after installing black screen apper keyboard blinking 3or 4 minits not working even when cd is booting when it say"press any key to boot cd' wirless keyboard is...
Hi, by reading your question I am not sure if you are saying that when you load up Windows 7, nothing shows but a black screen or if your keyboard is not working. Well anyway I am going to try and help with both.
If you are getting a black screen when loading up, this is probably because your computer does not support Windows 7. In order to use Bootcamp and install Windows 7 you must be on Mac 10.6 and up or Snow Leopard. That is the only OS that supports Windows 7 and if you do have Mac 10.6 but you still have the black screen it is probably because the actual computer can't handle it or the drivers in the computer might not support it. I would say anything before 2005 will not be able to load Windows 7, but I am just taking a guess.
For my second solution dealing with your wireless keyboard, when you installed Windows 7, no drivers were installed because Windows does not support them yet. This is why your keyboard was blinking, it was looking for a connection because it was not connected to anything. When installing Windows 7 you will need a wired mouse and keyboard because your Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard is not yet pared with the computer. In order to install the drivers to make your keyboard work you need to load up Windows 7 by holding down the "option" key when turning on the iMac. Then once you select Windows 7, and it loads up to the desktop you need to insert your Mac reinstall CDs, then follow the on screen steps to install the drivers. From there you should be able to go into the control panel and add a wireless keyboard under the devices panel.
I hope this helps,
Justin
