SOURCE: Sony NW A3000 Walkman

Follow these steps- - Open the Sony Walkman from "My Computer". - Open the folder inside, then delete all the "DAT" files. - Open the second foler which is inside the first foler and delete all these files. - Close that and then open up "SonicStage" - Now delete all the files from your library, but, DO NOT delete them from your computer. - Now import all the songs again and it should pick up the device and start to transfer with no problems. I have done this with my Sony Walkman and it now works. If you experiance more problems contact me at [email protected]

Hey.
Well first, some of the songs that you put in, well...Sony Co. cannot transfer directly, so you would have to use their Sonicstage program, aka the converting button.
Like most Sony mp3 players, you need to use Sonicstage to put songs in the mp3 player.

For the Sony NW-E405, simply go to the Transfer menu at the top right of the program, (along where the My Library button is) and select the song. In the middle of the screen should be arrows along with a suitcase looking button. Click the luggage button and a screen should pop out. It should have two choices, a Standard Transfer Mode and a Specified bit rate transfer mode. Click the Specified one and select either the 105kbps (ATRAC 3) or the 132kbps (ATRAC 3) for great sound quality and small memory usage. The others are too big or too bad for sound quality. It should now work.

Now the mp3 player should be able to read it, since it is now in ATRAC 3 version, not the mp3 version.

Hopefully this solution helped.
Have a nice day!

How to recover deleted contacts for galaxy s4 after factory data reset?

I would say yes there are a number of data recovery programs available which can do this for you but you have be real quick with the recovering process, because further delay means that place where your data previously was gets over written by something else. You can use software to recover you data back. But do remember act fast over it and don't try writing something more over it otherwise the chances of getting your things back will decrease.

Drive accidently fell on to a tile floor, how do i recover the data off it

Hello

OK, unfortunately you will need to take the drive in to your nearest computer repair store. They will need to send the drive to recovery centre. The reason why i am suggesting this, is because you will need specialised equipment to recover the data of the drive spindle.

Please feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards

External HD is not detected by laptop Windows XP

A common issue...I'm sure your hard drive is working fine, Windows is just not giving it an unused drive letter.

1. Insert the device (camera or usb drive)
2. Right-click "My Computer" and select "Manage".
3. Click on "Disk Management"
4. Right-click the item in the list that looks like your camera or usb drive, and then click "Change Drive Letter and Paths."
5. Click "Change".
6. Give it a drive letter that is not being used.
7. Click OK.

The device should work instantly after that.
