Contact Cannon tech support. A95 has a sensor problem. If it is the sensor Cannon will pay shipping both ways and repair it for FREE.

Canon will resolve this problem free of cost as per announced Canon CCD Advisory.

Obviously it's a mass Canon A95 issue, it's the same as "pink blur LCD" question which has around 10 people with the same problem, and there's also "purple LCD line" question which refers to the same. Just this website has around 20 of us who posted in August. Unfortunately not a single reply.

This is a manufacturing defect. Send the camera to canon repairing shop.The will do it free of cost.
