Installation without install disc

Hi there i need to install my brother HL5250DN printer but i do not have an instillation disc, what do i do?

Go to this site, select your operating system in box #2, and it will take you to all available software for your printer.

FYI - You need to download the driver in order to install the printer on your PC. Create a folder called HL-5250DN driver. Save the downloaded driver to that folder, and then use the add printer function in control panel to install the printer.

You cannot set up a printer without a driver that needs to be install in your computer before it prints.

Just download to brother website for free printer installer and install it to your computer.

Is the printer still asking for a new toner..?

If it is the there is a gear that can be reset on the toner cartridge to tell the machine its a new toner cartridge. This is normally done by an engineer, but is quite easy to do if you know how. And I do :0

As long as you have the disc you can download the drivers.If no disc go to there website and find the drivers.
