Subway toilet, can't access soft close lid under toilet?

You will need to remove the toilet and access the bolts from inside the enclosure. It is a dirty job.... good luck!

Villeroy and boch toilet parts

attach 2X4s behind it to ensure its stable. I had same problem but used that wood to reinforce it (covered with hardy board & paint) and reattached it and wall is very strong and toilet does not move.

Villeroy & Boch Sunberry close coupled pan and Subway cistern newly installed at the end of July 2010. When flushed the internal mechanism does not always drop down to stop the inlet water....

Your chain is probably metal that snags under the flap (verify by taking top off tank and looking) and you should switch to a plastic chain.

Easy just replace the flap that stops the water after handle is down and toilet flushes and also replace the chain that connects from handle to rubber flap. New chain should be plastic one so it can be reattached and problem is fixed. Should cost less then 5 bucks from Home Depot or Lowes. They can happily step you through the process. I should take about 2 minutes to install ...if that.

Remember to remove excess links of plastic chain with a pair of scissors. Its doesn't require a rocket scientist.

Villeroy & boch flush mechenism needs to be replaced

This problem is either two things:

1/ The water inlet valve is letting by and going down the overflow pipe. (Connected to the main centre column). You can check this by taking off the lid off.

2/ Centre column seal at the base is letting by. You can unclick the centre column by pushing the two paddles either side.

Then lift out the centre column and check the grey washer at the base. You can turn this washer around and see if this solves - if not the column has probably has a part snap off.

You can get spares here:
