the problem is while copying files to a pendrive or any external memory and from the dvd drive to computer.... the file transfer rate is too slow. but it isn't the case in other computers, they are bit better faster than mine.how to make this fast.
oh and the OS is vista home premium sp1.
Try scanning ur system for viruses if u have nt done it yet..sometimes wen u have viruses on the system or on the pendrive the file transfer rate gets slow.

Try unplugging the power cable, disconnecting the battery, leave it our for a few minutes then reconnect. If this doesn't work then you may need a new ac adapter/charger.
If you want a clean install just format your XP drive. Then boot with your 2000 cd in the drive. Make sure it is bootable and your bios is set to boot from cd.
