You have probably fouled the spark plug (got a heap of black carbon on it) remove the spark plug wash in some petrol then use a wire brush vigorously brush between the contact points on the plug then reinstall. & lastly don't forget to push in the choke when you get it fired up next time.??
thank you for the reply. with the belt drive take a ruler and push the belt down you can use your finger as a referance point if you can push it past the half inch mark the belt needs to be tightend you can do that by adjusting the belt tensioner thats done by losening the bolt that holds it in place then moving it so there is no more then half an inch of play in the belt and retightning the bolt. and if the tensioner is at its stops then the belt needs replacement.
I would change the spark plug and be sure to gap it as per your owner's manual. I would also clean or change the air filter. I would also use only high test gas and the oil recommended by the manufacturer. good luck.
Change the spark plug being sure to set the spark plug gap as recommended in the owner's manual. Then clean or change the air filter. Finally use new high test gasoline. good luck.
