Hello manishchahal,

Your best option is to use JVC's online factory service locater. Click on the "Service Locator" link at the left and then put your JVC model number and location in the form. If you want to remove the receiver and send it for repair, you should contact whichever of the Factory Service Centers is closest to your location. Contact the JVC factory service center toll-free at (800) 252-5722 for specific packing and shipping instructions.

It is a bit complicated and procedure could make it worse if not done correctly. If you are not familiar with service menu and settings, then take it to a JVC authorized place. If you know what you are doing, then email me and I can send you the service manual. I repeat: it is complicated.

My JVC KD-AVX44 keeps flashing up the ''parking brake'' even though the green wire has been attatched to the handbrake.

hi ok first of all unless you want your vid not to show while the parking break is off i can fix this for you :) simply take your parking break wire and connect it to your ground from the wireing harness tada end of story my friend now you have vid and full fuctionality of your deck 100% of the time feel free to email me if you have anymore questions (i own black widow car audio also own a jvc avx 820 works with all jvc models)

Hi

I have had a good look around, and I cannot find this model on any of the region mod websites at all

the only thing I can suggest is to send an email to these forums to see if they can fullfil your requirement on a special order basis. not sure what this would cost, it may also be possible to get a service disk from JVC to change the region settings
