Are you sure it the timing. Have you check the needles. You must have the right needles for your machine.Check your manual for the correct size.

They are all the same . And its ok buy one and try it out.

one problem is confusion between the SEWING GENIE & the Singer brand sewing machine called the Genie. I believe most of these questions are about SEWING GENIE & most of the answers are about the Singer machine. =(
