Dewalt circular saw runs like power lacking intermit ant

The armature is bad. A new armature is about the same cost as a new saw. Buy a Milwaukee next time.

No power to bite

Needs new brushes. http://www.metabo.com/Spare-parts-lists-handheld.16913.0.html

When the brushes wear down they are held back by there power wires. There should be a set of small holes in the brush holders.Push new brushes to the bottom and put a wire through the small holes to hold brushes in place during reassembly.Pull out the wires and the new brushes will seat. Brushes don't cost all that much.

Dashboard lights pulsate

Headlights pulsate as well?
This generally means that the brushes in the alternator are worn out.
If you are handy with a soldering iron, and willing to hunt till you find brushes that fit, you can replace just the brushes for less than $5.
Or you can buy a new voltage regulator. It comes with the new brushes in it. It attaches to the back of your alternator with two screws. It costs $30 to $80 on line depending on which alternator you have.

Neff washing machine not spinning. Fine yesterday, slightly funny noise and now drum not moving on wash or spin! Any clues?

Could be worn Carbon brushes on the motor.Check belt has not fallen off though...some Neff you need to buy half motor to fit new brushes as it comes this way, perhaps a good test is to blow ut any dust next to the brushes this may allow the motor to Briefy run long enough to tell if brushes are worn ..Half motor cost to buy - 60 GBP......Happy new year...

Machine having same error E3 not spining, does water pressure influence

The error code e3 is related to weak motor or faulty motor brushes. The brushes gets worn out and causes this error code in most of the cases/.Check the motor brushes and replace/.But if the brushes looks fine then its the faulty /weak motor causing this problem. The cost for pair of brushes is $45.And the cost of new motor assembly is near to $230. -----------
You can get required parts from www.searspartsdirect.com or from www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk . ------------ Keep updated with any more queries.Thanks.

Drain light is flashing

Hi,

Check the motor for worn brushes and or noisy bearings while it is removed for service. Any auto mechanic should have experience replacing brushes and bearings. Much cheaper than ordering a new motor. New brushes and bearings should cost around $30.

Thanks

Brush dosen't move

Brushes not moving are usually caused by the turbine bearing seized. This job requires the turbine to be removed, completely dissassembled, cleaned new bearings and then re assembled and installed. The tank is another part, if your tank does in fact need replacement then the normal cost is between 45-60 dollars. Even if he completely replcaed the turbine, those cost about 35-45 dollars. I do know that the new tank style (all clear) is made much better than the original (2 color). This model is a good one. you are getting to the 50% of cost for a new model. if you get this one fixed make sure they install a gasket under the turbine, to prevent further issues.

Rinse light flashing on miele novomatic washing machine

Check the motor for worn brushes and or noisy bearings while it is removed for service. Any auto mechanic should have experience replacing brushes and bearings. Much cheaper than ordering a new motor. New brushes and bearings should cost around $30. The shop time should not exceed one hour. Miele charges about $50 for brushes if you can not find a local supplier. The W1930 motor that I rebuilt used a 6202Z and a 6201Z bearing set.
