2408 means that the toner cartridge you are trying to rotate to is already in the top position or you need to install another toner cartridge before you can rotate to the color you want to replace.

To fix the toner not installed message clean the three contacts on green chip on the right side of the toner cartridge. You may see black lines on them. Use an eraser or rubbing alcohol.

it is fixing problem, the fixing roller is damadged, or pressure roller bushing is broken, you need to replace the fixing unit.

maybe you have more than one color empty

Problem 1:The laser lens is dirty.
Solution: Clean the laser lens.

Problem 2: A toner cartridge may be defective.
Solution: Remove the toner cartridges with the color causing the abnormal image. Replace it with a new toner cartridge.

Problem 3: The drum cartridge is defective.
Solution: Remove the drum cartridge and check for damage. If it is damaged, replace it.

You may have some dust on the imaging window (printer head). Remove the toner cartridges and clean it with some tissues.

remove PC drum and under that you can see laser glass, clean it and reinstall.

Check the toner contacts in the printer, you may find one either dirty , bent or broken.
