How to unmute my cordless phone

Typically there is a button that looks much like the mute/unmute button on your T.V. remote. It should look like a megaphone (speaker) and have a line going through it. it also may or may not say MUTE. However in this case I would assume your phone does not. =]

Callers cannot hear me reply,I can hear them ?

Sounds like you have your phone on MUTE. If so the word MUTE should be on your screen. It might be in the upper or lower corners of your screen.
To unmute.....while in the TALK mode.....press the soft key on the far right of the menu key. it should look like this -> -> . MUTE should then clear off screen. You can now hang up. Now go back to TALK and call someone and see if that corrects your problem. Happy talking!

Uniden 5.8 ghz

Hi Melissa,

I reviewed the manual and do not see a mute key. However, I included a link to the manual below for you. Many cordless do not have a mute key, so I merely put my finger over the transmitter holes to mute. Kinda goofy, but it works. Thanks, CG
