Fan works on all speed, and low cool is working but does not change to medium or High
All speeds work on the fan and the low speed works on the air condition and gets cold but when you can speed to medium and high cool speed does not change. We have duo therm unit.

your fan most likely is wired for low speed for heat which is common. this should be determined when furnace is set up properly. motors that aren't modulating motors and are multispeed motors typically have low medium and high taps that come off the motor and go to the corresponding relay on the board. low and medium speeds are used for heat and high and medium speeds are used for cooling. but only one speed for heat and one speed for cooling many times medium never gets used. im not familiar with klimaire is this a mini split system and not a regular air handler. cause speed control should be adjustable from the remote. if its a split but if not reaching desired speed due to a malfunction in the units could cause it to run low speed just to maintain the temperature exiting the indoor unit.
Most fans have a small rectangular multi-tap capacitor connected to the speed control in the fan. It is likely that this has gone partially bad. The capacitance values are printed on it. Lighting stores and big box hardware stores generally carry replacements.
The A/C dial is High Medium and Low, that only changes the fan speed, it doesn't changed the compressor at all, with all three speeds.
If the fan is not running the compressor won't run very long.
Probably an open winding, in the medium speed of the motor, the switch is bad or medium and low speed not hooked up.
It's the mode switch contactors for the high setting just overview the wiring of the high cool or high fan contactors if it's not there check all leads for the high fan or high cool circuitry.
The indoor blower motor is sometimes a 3 speed motor. The heat usually works on low or medium speed. But the a/c is usually on high speed, this gives greater air flow across the evaporator coil to give you better cooling, also better air flow at ducts. These speeds are usually wired through a relay in the inside unit (air handler). They can be changed. If you go to thermostat and put the fan switch to "on" the blower should operate on "high" speed. With the fan switch set to "auto"the operation will determine the fan speed.Hope this helps. the barector resistance would have worn out or would have broken in the rheostat so change that resistance then you would see ur fan working in low medium and high speeds
Compressors on these units runs at only one speed. The change to high cool is only a change in blower speed moving air faster over the cooling coil. I would have the running capacitor for the fan motor checked. A bad capacitor can cause your type of problem. The other problem could be that the high speed winding in the fan motor is bad. Try it operation in the fan only position through the two speeds. If it works in the low and high speed for fan only your problem could be in the selector switch.
fan speed low and have problem with cool
