I have a whirlpool accubake 465 oven. The stove top works fine, however I get an E0 F2 error shortly after turning on the oven. I have read I need to change the keypad out. The diagnostic packet in the back of the oven says "ensure the membrane tail is seated in the connector on back of control". I would like to find a diagram to show me what the membrane tail looks like.
One note that might impact the oven. The casing behind the oven light bulb is brown like the bulb burned out at one time. The white casing surrounding back of the bulb is also brown in some areas. After taking the bulb out and replacing it the oven worked fine for about 24 hours. The oven turned on and the E0 F2 screen was gone. After about a day it came back however.
Please let me know what options I have in repairing the oven. Thank you.
Jake
F2-E0 - Shorted Touch Pad (Keypad) - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.
