SOURCE: HP Z6100- Magenta ink density fade

the printhead seat seal's may have worn/hardened and cracked/ or warped out of shape. If you feel confident to do so- remove the tube assy from the base front of the carriage( by removing ALL printheads removing the silver carriage cover and disconnecting the tube set from the carriage pcb) to reveal the Valve seats, remove the offending colours valve seat. strip the seat to individual component level and thoroughly clean ,testv the seal by squeezing between fingers and looking for cracks in the side wall of the seal.

Hp dj z6100 banding using lexjet ink photo black only

could be the non-HP ink has clogged up the printhead. You should try a new printhead and see if that solves the problem. (I bet it returns if you keep using the lexjet ink)

Bypass expired message cartridge. Cartridge is less than six months old & nearly full.

Hi,

Every cartridge will have its own ID and Expiry date, please check the Cartridge expiry date, if its really expired then printer will reject it even-though the cartridge is full.

We cannot bypass cartridge errors for single cartridge in INK-JET printer, because they work in TIJ technology (Thermal Ink Jet) which needs all cartridges to be functional unlike Laser-jet printers.

I bought a black ink for my hp photosmart c5 180 and the when i turn on the printer it says the ink has expired. Can i still use it or will i damage my printer. Thanks regards Anita

Hello
according to HP
Each ink cartridge has an expiration date. The purpose of expiration is to protect the printing system and to ensure ink quality. When you receive an ink cartridge(s) are expired message, remove and replace the expired ink cartridge, and then close the message. You can also continue printing without replacing the ink cartridge, by following the instructions on the HP All-in-One or the ink cartridge expiration message on your computer screen. HP recommends replacing the expired ink cartridges. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of expired ink cartridges. Device service or repairs required as a result of using expired ink will not be covered under warranty.

Can the print head be reset and used again after it gives out of warranty message?

Printheads can not be reset after it expires, but it should still works fine. Unless you have a problem with print quality.

Magenta Ink Cartridge Has Expired, showing this error message? still my catridge is 95% full. Give any solution pls

If you only just purchased your cartridge I would suggest you return the cartridge for an exchange. Unfortunatelty when a cartridge has expired the date is set inside the cartridges chip and so far I have not come up with a way to get around it. You will need to replace the cartridge with a new one.

HPz6100 rips but doesn't print

Try going into the Web interface by typing the ip address in internet explorer instead of an web address. Go to the setup tab and on the left is a date/time link. Go in there and change the date on the plotter to before the expiration date to see if that takes away the message. Hope this helps.

Supply expired

So many models. Does this model have printheads under the ink carts? If so, remove the print head and clean the jets with a damp Bounty paper towel. Fold the towel up a few times and blot the head into it a few times to clean out the dries ink.
