Cant find hard drive - Iomega 1TB Desktop USB 2.0 Hard Drive

If the operating system can't format the hard drive then the chances are that the drive is either failing or Failed.

While you r opening the hard drive what error do u get ??

Check with Seagates Customer support.
Should be an installer in their drivers section.
Possibly locate installer at www.driverguide.com

lets get all of the details first you say you cant access the hard drive then the message cant be formatted how are you trying to format the hard drives what procedure??? will need more imformation a hard drive must be formatted from a ""third party disc""

If you cant open the hard disc it means you can,t boot your PC.What is your OS?

what is the error message you are getting when you are trying to access the hard drive...???

The Seagate website should have the installer available for download under their support link. You will have to look up your exact model # and download the package for the operating system you are running. Hope this helps.

Also my Hard drive which should be 320gb is only showing as 298. Where did my other 20gb go?

i cant open the flash 2gb... it cant format also ... due to some errors so tell me how to format!!!

Goto>
Control Panel> Performance and maintenance> Administartive Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management> Select The drive And Right Click after that select the Option {Change Drive Letter and Paths} \

here you can change drive letter and Path. If you need more help Kindly update the Request.
