Blank Screen i have a katana eclipe X. the phone work properly you can receive calls but you can not see any thing the screen is just blank..... my phone was working OK but then the screen went completly blank...cant see anything to text or make a call.

There is a little rectangle shape thing next to the lg logo on the top of the fone screen. If this is blocked by screen protector it will cause the phone to blank of during calls. Its a power saver that blanks the phone when its near your face. Try it. Take off the screen protector & make a call. Then place your finger over the little thing & the screen goes blank. Just cut a lil space in the screen protector & that will fix the problem

I don't think the screen is the problem of your phone, but a flex problem. This blank screen issue is a common problem with slide and flip phones.

This occurs as a result of constant opening and close of flip or slide phones which makes the flex to worn out.

The flex is the one that connects the screen to the phone main board, and once this flex is weak/worn out or loose contact, there won't be any display on the screen.

Therefore check the phone flex and not the screen. Screen doesn't just get spoilt, except it hits the ground or something.

u will have to get a new display for ur phone.. Rest ur phone is absolutely fine. U can keep using ur phone without screen no problem in tht..

I'm sorry to tell you this but the phone is a goner.  You need to replace it.

well the inside screen is blank but the outside screen isn't icant text or see menus i can stilll dial the numbers just cant see them on the screen

Yes- take the device to a Sprint store (thats who you actually talked to) and ask them to upgrade the software on your phone. This is a known issue and your firmware needs to be updated.

apparently you damaged your flex cable that connects the main board to the lcd - hence your calls work , but nothing on screen - to repair it costs - $25-40

it appears that your display has gone bad or there is a display connector problem. If you are tech savvy then open the phone carefully and on proper examination u will find that there is a connector for the display carefully take it off and replace it. Check if it works if not replace the display
