Change TV resolutions to view slide shows

I want to view picture slideshows in a full screen mode, it says it's showing in full screen but it only takes up maybe half of the screen ...my pictures are like 1024*768... If I change my pictures to 1920*1080 then it will fill up the whole screen. Can I just change the TV to fit 1024*768 pictures? thanks

Nope. The picture resolution has to be 1080 to fill the screen completely. Using stretch and zoom will distort the low rez pictures. No option to change resolution on the TV itself.

How do you make a disk of pictures whiling playing music

Beth
You didn't specify what OS you are using.
If it's OSX then it's easy using iTunes & iPhoto to select a group of photos and background music.
My slide show on my MacBook gets transferred to the Apple TV automatically and shows up on my Plasma 50" Screen.
Cheers

How do you set the background on a Dell to show a slideshow of all of the pictures?

To use your own pictures

1.

Open Desktop Background by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button and clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type desktop background, and then click Change desktop background.

2.

If the pictures that you want to use aren't in the list of desktop background pictures, click the Picture location list to view other categories, or click Browse to search your computer for the folder where the pictures are located.

3.

Select the check box for each picture that you want to include in your slide show.

Most often, the signal come in 16:9 screen size, which sometimes show big black portion on both top and bottom of screen. To maximizes screen display, you can adjust the screen size of your LCD TV through remote control, this features are available in most LCD TV. you will have the option to choose Full Screen Mode, 16:9 screen resolution or many others to choose from (most case about 3 to 4 screen size.

In ma laapi i m not able to make a slide show help me

Put all the pictures you want in the slideshow into one folder.

To create a new folder just RIGHT MOUSE CLICK on an empty spot on your desktop, scroll down to the word NEW, then over to the word FOLDER and click on that.
The new folder will appear on your desktop and then you just name it whatever you want.

You can either drag your photos into that folder with the mouse or COPY and PASTE them there.

Now double click on the folder to open it up.
On the left hand side of the page under expand the PICTURE TASKS menu.
In there you will see an option to VIEW AS SLIDESHOW.
Click on that and your slideshow screen will appear and the slideshow will start playing.

The PLAY (start slideshow) button will be in the upper right hand corner.
The PAUSE, NEXT PICTURE, PREVIOUS PICTURE and the CLOSE SLIDESHOW SCREEN buttons will be up there too.

Good luck and please comment back and rate if this was helpful or if you need further assistance.

How can I see a Microsoft Power Point slide show, size 3.30MB ?

Unless your picture frame supports Power point files you can't load it straight on to it, but you could try this.
  1. Open the powerpoint file in MS Powerpoint (or download the free powerpoint viewer)
  2. Use the Print Screen button (also marked PrtSc) to copy the screen to the clipboard
  3. Paste into a picture program (such as MS Paint, free with Windows)
  4. Save the files as a JPEG
  5. Load these onto the picture frame
Hope this helps

How do I rotate my vertical photos back to horizontal?

I don't think your camera has that facility[to rotate image]. As for a slide show you will have to upload the images into a computer to make a slide show- which requires new software-your computer may have some all ready on board- Then will have to be burned to a disk if you want to view it off computer- the camera is out of this equation now. Come back if you would like recommendation for slide show software

Why can't I run a Slideshow in Nikon View?

In order to display slideshows in Nikon View the Apple QuickTime software must be installed. QuickTime is installed from the Nikon View CD or can be downloaded, for free, from the Apple Computer web site: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/ Quicktime is available for Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP as well as Apple Mac OS 9 and X. If Apple QuickTime is not installed, when the "Slideshow" button is clicked the computer will "beep" and nothing else will happen. Installing QuickTime and restarting the computer will allow the show to display as desired.
