I have a timex ironman triathlon with flix technology. Has worked great for a couple of years!! Now when I press the indigo button..it shows the lighted numbers for a split second, then dims the display. Does this mean it just needs a new battery? Or is there something else going on? Also, if it needs a new battery, are there directions for changing it?
Timex suggests that you have a watch repair person change your watch batteries. I think it would be a good idea to try and replace the battery, but if that fails to work, contact Timex for advice. If they suggest that you should replace the entire wath, keep the battery. I have no guarantee that any of that would work, though.
