I have a Jacuzzi Magnum force pump

Wright behind the strainer basket there is a leak in the housing. I have a 12 year warrenty. We had the pool installed in 2001. Where can I go to get the replacement part . This part would be the from the front inlet connection to where the motor is connected with the ring lock. Thank you for your time. Patti- Jo Parks

Good luck...Jacuzzi went out of business. The best source I have had for their parts is CCO:

Where is it leaking? if it is still leaking between the wet end which is the black plastic water housing and the motor then the seal is not properly set.

Pool pump running low psi

your pump should be just fine once the water starts flowing again. You may have run it too long without enough water to cool the seal.
If it is leaking water between the Jacuzzi Pump housing and the motor then you will need a new pump seal. Those are common pool parts.

How to change the seals on a jacuzzi magnun force 1 hp pool pump

Hi,
If you haven't already figured out how to change the seals on your Jacuzzi Magnum Force pump, I can help by supplying a diagram.
Here is the parts explosion for that pump.
Start by removing the case/basket assembly, then the diffuser to get to the impeller. Loosen the impeller to get to the seal plate.
When going to the trouble of changing the shaft seals one should change all the hosing seals at the same time because its a lot of work.

I have a magnum pump. when i turn it on. the pump hums and then clicks off like it has shorted out. but i still here it on. it will not pull water from pool

Pumps will **** all sorts of debris and many times the debris is small enough to get thru the strainer baskets and block the pump inlet. Turn the power off at the breaker, remove the strainer basket, and reach in with your fingers and check for debris in the pump inlet.
Clear all you can get out by hand, then on the outside of the pump motor, take the cap off the shaft, and turn it back and forth with a crescent wrench. Then put the basket and lid back on and turn the pump on.... you may need to clear it this way a few times to get it back up to speed, but that sounds exactly like what I've been dealing with at my wonderful pool that's right next to a 50 evergreen dropping needles 24-7 this time of year.... hope you clear it up ....let me know how it goes.

Jacuzzi Magnum Force Pump not working

The number one problem is air leaks.......check all connections to see that they are tight, and rubber seals. The intake side would give you trouble with air leaks. If you dont find any leaks then I would pull the pump cover and check the impellor. Pool stores have parts and lots of knowledge.

My pump is running however it's pressure is less than 10 psi and the heater on the pool will not run.

With the Jacuzzi Magnum pool pumps, low pressure is going to likely be cause by one of the issues below. Try these troubleshooting tips.

1.Pump not primed

2.Leakage of air into suction system

3.Impeller clogged

4.Valve in suction or discharge line partly closed or suction or discharge line partly plugged or too small. 5.Plugged basket in skimmer or hair in lint strainer.

6.Dirty filter.
