yes you can, just put the mp3 file on folder "Sound" on the external memory, it will be automaticly put  in your playlist mp3 player.

my mp3 plays the beat of the song but the words are faided

use samsung software to send music to phone it conwerts it

It won't play music while connected to computer, that's for sure. It only plays when it's disconnected from the wall charger and computer.

The songs could be in the wrong format
AAC is iTunes native format
Mp3 generally works
WMA is iffy - only unprotected (non-DRM) files will work
Streaming songs won't work

Sounds like you have two problems here. First my guess is your files bought from walmart are corrupted some how. just delete the ones that are giving you fits and call it a day. Second you mentioned it wont even sync music,,,, Are you saying none of your music or just the walmart ones ?

probably a stupid question, but are you sure your music isn't copy right protected?
