Sounds like a short across the mains input on the power supply/ or triacs shorted out on fuser driver pwb,
before replacing the power supply (needed) you may also want to replace the fuser unit assembly as a whole as the problem may well have originated from here. ( I would suggest at this point if your toner supply is low for this machine -that it is just as cheap to replace the machine as it is to replace the power supply fuser and toner

The machine won't power up. The green light on the PS flashes. What does this mean? If I disconnect the large plug from the mother board the green light will come on steady. Plugging it into the mother...

Can you tell if the flashing is a pattern. count the flashes ( long and short) in a cycle. This will provide an error code to hopefully discover the problem.
You may also try removing and reseating the RAM and Video card, blowing out the connectors with compressed air before reseating.. Also look closely at the components on MB for any signs of swelling, leaking, burning etc. I suspect the MB.

The "clean" button is flashing & none of the other cycles work.

heated dry and high temp wash
toggle till all the lights light up
then hit cancel
you should be able to turn dishwasher back on
you probably have a bad heater
is it flashing 7 times
take kick panel off and look to the rear of the dishwasher
is anything burned
if the clean light keeps blinking replace your heater

Furnace blower blows cold air

It is possible that you did not set the new blower on the proper speed. Black wire is high. Blue is medium. Red is low. If the fan is operating to slow it can run to hot and trip the high limit control. Make sure the filters are clean. When the old motor went bad, the problem might not have been discovered rite away your high limit control might need to be changed.
Also anytime you work on a furnace you can kick up some dust. Always clean the flame sensor.

Generator is burning oil and choking out

You have/had too much oil in it. After it is brought down to proper level, it may have to burn the oil that is in areas that it should not be in. Another thing that may cause this, is a dirty air filter, can cause enough suction to pull oil around valves, and other places a clean filter will not. It may have oil in the filter too.

Monitor flashes

If the power button flashes, You probably have a bad power-inverter board thats needs to be refurbished due to burned out capacitors and possibly a transistor or two.
If the screen flashes and the power button stays steady, it could be the same thing or a bad bulb in the screen.

"howling" noise during spin cycle (still there after changing burned off belt)

Travioso, there was two service flashes out on this model concerning the seal and bearing which means they had an issue with this washer. The howling noise you are hearing is the bearing and will need the new designed triple seal and bearing kit. This should be covered under your warranty, I believe it is 5 years. The numbers for the service flashes are TDL-0048A-B. Call Maytag and inquire about these service flashes, these should be covered. Catriver.
