It depends on the Router & Firmware.  BUT it definitely can be done and VERY nicely using the DD-WRT Open Source firmware on a multitude of Router brands & models.

SOURCE: I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on a belkin wireless router

upgrade of Firmware is at your risk...
never upgrade Firmwares....they are not ment for that....
your hardware may be rendered useless after firmware upgrades....the chip inside your hardware is programed to run based on a certian program installed as a firmware from the factory....sometimes upgrades will screwup your hardware....so be careful and do it at your own risk...

SOURCE: Firewall - access control settings

Short set of instructions on page 50

http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/dl/man_f5d8235-4_pm00736_0708.pdf

I'm still fooling around with it, but what I did to restrict access from my kid's machineto the internet was, browse to the router config page, default for my Belkin router is http://192.168.2.1 . Click Access Control on the menu, enable it, enter a password (this is separate from your router admin password), click the "Add" button, chose the system I wanted to restrict, specify the days and time I wanted to restrict (though I would like more flexibility here to select more than one time range), on the Service tab, verified that "Block All Services" was selected, on the URL List tab, verified that "Block all URLs" was selected, then clicked the "Apply Changes" button.

In this particular router the is no actual parental controls but there is access restrictions that can be enabled or disabled. Disabling this should fix your concern.

What is the password for a belkin router F9K1123v2

If you are asking what the default credentials are to log into the admin panel of the router, then the options are below.

Default usernames: admin, Admin, [blank]
Default passwords: admin, password, [blank]

If you are asking for the Wi-Fi password, that is unique to the user who initially set it up. You can reset the router but following the manufacturer instructions and holding the reset button down in the back. This will erase all settings on the router.

I want to impliment parental control exception for some some pc in our network

On the router you can block websites for all not just for one , you can block his mac address off the router but then he cannot access the network,
I suggest a antivirus/internet security which is installed on his pc to set parental control , i have seen this been done & implemented my self , its already pre-configured no extra settings needed.

You apply parental controls trough the browser , but it is easily bypassed by a literate it knowladge ,

on the machine you want to set the parental controls
- open "internet explorer" - click "tools" - click "internet properties" on the dropdown menu - click The "Content" tab - click "Parental Controls" - follow the wizard

* if you dont see tools option when You open the browser Press "alt" key , Make sure you have adminitrator privelages when setting this.

Thanx

I have Belkin N150 Wireless Router installed. I can connect my laptop to it. When I tried my PS3 and I pod Touch and enter the same password but still it can't connect..guys, help me please..tnx

You have to allow these device to connect via MAC address ( Media Access Control) or set an IP.
This is done in the router. Check your router instructions for game settings.
Setting the router firewall game allowance or device is possibly where you are have an issue.

Belkin wireless G+ MIMO ADSL2 + modem routerF5D9630

You need to find out what settings need to be changed in the router to communicate to the new modem. Etisalat should have some type of instructions on how to configure it...Does the IP address get obtained automatically or is it manually configured. Does the modem require authentication..like a password. Did they replace the modem or just upgrade the system? You may just ahve to reset the modem and router to get reconnection. Most routers use the IP address of 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 to get to the router settings control panel. Just enter one of these addresses on internet explorer and a screen should ask for a password. The default password is usually ADMIN but consult the routers manual for instructions. Once you are in the router control manual you can configure the router to work with the new system.

No connectivity

try check the router settings..OR check your firewall, maybe its prompt you to block some access programs including your internet browser. Try to reconfigure the firewall settings located on your control panel and allow some of your trusted programs to function it properly.
