unlikely
the pump is steel or brass impeller with carbon on ceramic seal
all it does is circulate water
most antifreeze is ethylene glycol based for the majority of cars and are green or yellow
different styles use organic acid GM ( orange or salmon color) is organic acid coolant
forums state that orange and green should not be mixed as the coolant goes to a gelatinous mess that will cause overheating by it will flush out in a professional shop
so if the antifreeze is ethylene glycol base regardless of color it is ok but if the added anti freeze was orange , pink, or salmon color , the you will have to have the system professionally flushed
I can't even figure out how to wire that tstat you're better off calling tech support. The jumper doesn't matter but I think your orange should go to y1 and yellow to y/o. I guess one way to figure it out is hook it up turn cooling on and make sure it is cooling. If not you have orange and yellow backwards. I suppose that depends on if the reversing valve energizes in heat or cool. Their manuals are a joke, even for a professional. I recommend calling their tech support.
Look what color it is. If it green it's the regular old fashion kind just buy the pre dilluted 50/50 blend. If the color is orangie- redish it's the new technology Synthetic anti freeze. Buy the apropriate jug. or Simply buy it from one of many autopart stores and ask the counter clerk. Yours is probably the orange red colored. Costs more but don't go cheap and put the green stuff in it will dry rot your heater core fast and then you'll have some problems.
u can but i don't recommend it that newwer antifreeze (orange or yellow) was suppose to be better when if came out but in long run it was worst leaves more deposits and gums and clogs passage your best bet is to use regular green antifreeze ask any mechanic that dealt with it i guarantee 9/10 will tell u to use the green
