SOURCE: How can I open the HP w1907 LCD Monitor

I have just opened an HP W1907. It does not open from the back like Dell!!! The black plastic bezel with the HP logo on the front must be removed.I pried mine lose and broke most of the plastic nibs that hold it in place. From examining the bezel, it appears the a thin hook should be slipped in between it and the light gray plastic then pry up the back of the black bezel. The nibs on the black plastic bezel are facing downward and you must somehow lift them up and over the matching locks on gray piece. If you pry on the black back piece, as in Dell, you will break off four post the have screws put in from the front.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Vertical red line on HP w2207 monitor

Please try to connect the monitor to another PC, if problem still exist then probably there's an internal problem in the circuit board of your monitor wherein an elecronic part/s might be cold soldered / defective. I recommend to bring the monitor to an authorized HP service center to fix the problem. If the monitor display is good if connected to other PC, then your previous PC should be checked if the VGA card (if there is any) is properly placed to its slot & working properly as well as it cables & connections. regards

SOURCE: My hp w1907 19' monitor goes black light stays

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

A thin white vertical line is appearing in left of my HP w1907 wide screen 19" LCD moniter

Hi,

I suggest try to calibrate the monitor, while calibrating the monitor and it has the white line it could be a hardware problem that the monitor is bad but if you want to make sure try loading to BIOS and see in BIOS if it has the white line, If so, It really means that its really a hardware problem.

There is bright green vertical line occurred on middle of the screen

Hi,
I am afraid your computer's screen has a defect. You should apply to nearest service. If your computer is still in the guarentee period thats fine. There may be exists different guarantee conditions for LCD screens, (death pixel guarantee) and some brands give this against even 1 death pixel. You have lots of death or distorted pixels (a line). Do not lost time and apply to your vendor.

Regards.

HP w1907

This sounds like a digital problem. If the monitor is still in warranty, return it for exchange or repair.

One green vertical line in HDTV Vizio 42

Try changing the H/V position in the TV Set Up menu. You can adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the screen and move it enough that the green line disappears from the screen.
