Air Conditioner isn't making the house cold at all

I have a problem with my Air Conditioner. When I turn it on it works, but inside the house it doesn't get cold at all and is still hot inside the house even though the fan is blowing.

There are many possible reasons for it not working. To jump to refrigerant or anything else specific without having all the information is just irresponsible

My AC works great, cold air coming out of the vent (about 63*) intake working well also. (about 76* in the middle of the day)
Think it could be the insulation?

My air conditioner is not blowing cold air in the house

because the fan inside the house is working doesn't mean that the compressor outside is working
It may be a faulty start /run capacitor for the outside unit ,out of gas or failed power board
I suggest that you get an accredited technician to come and give you a proper diagnosis of the fault.

2003 jeep grand cherokee heater problem

Jeep Grand Cherokee is notorious for broken blend-air doors. This is the door inside the A/C-heater housing that switches the air from hot to cold. You must remove the dash to repair it.

High efficiency outside air conditioner does not cool house, seems to for a while but stops. The pipes at the air conditioner are coated with ice so seems to produce cold but does not blow that through the...

Unfortunately, the ice coating isn't normal, in fact, it is an indication that your unit is low on freon or a blockage. But could also mean a few other things.

But about the only thing you can do yourself is make sure that the fan is turning or not.

Rudd air conditioner isn't cooling, blowing ,but isn't cooling my house because air is not cold

Hello, first check if the outside unit is running, if it is then check filter to make sure it is clean and that the blower wheel is clean and not dirty. If the unit is clean then most likely you have a low refrigerant charge due to a leak and will need a hvac tech to come out and fix the leak.

Air conditioner light inside truck comes on but blows only regular air.. not cold at all

It isn't blowing AC at all, just air. See if your compressor is turning with the belts when the system is engaged. Not just the pully but the compressor.

The air conditioning fan outside the house is showing frost on the coils, what is the problem

Are you using your Air conditioner as a Heat Pump (Making heat in the house)- or as an Air Conditioner (making COLD air in the house.)

If as a heat pump, then remember-- that the WARM coil is now inside the house-- and the COLD one is outside-- So, if it is COLD outside, there is not enough HEAT out there, to keep the coil from going below freezing-- The unit may have to be turned off, and allowed to defrost, if you want more heat from the Heat Pump-

Let me know if this helped

No cold air

hi..
The evaporator coils on the front of the air conditioner get very cold during normal operation of the air conditioner. As the warm moist air in the room comes in contact with the cold evaporator the moisture in the air condenses out of the air and attaches to the evaporator coil. As more and more moisture condenses the water begins to drip down into the base of the air conditioner where it is evaporated to the outside of the house.... so the problem might be in ur evaporator coil.. try replacing the coil if u are an expert or else with the help of technician try to fix it..
Is the thermostat knob turned to the proper setting? Is the compressor motor running? The compressor is a football-sized case with no apparent moving parts. It is located inside the air conditioner at the center. Is it humming or making any kind of continuous noise or causing the lights to dim? If it is making a continuous noise, and your air conditioner is still not cooling at all, there may be a serious problem with one or more of these areas:
Compressor
Condenser
Evaporator
These items are not user serviceable. You will need to contact a qualified appliance repair technician to repair these components.

If the compressor is not running but you do have power to the air conditioner there may be a problem in one or more of these areas:

Compressor
Overload and/or relay
Thermostat (Open thermostat)
Burnt wiring
Bad selector switch
Capacitor..

Not blowing cold air

Your in house core could have frozen over. check the core inside the indoor blower unit. it may have frozen over. this will interrupt the cold air function.

Goodman air conditioner will not turn on outside

When ever you hear a buzzing like you are hearing means one thing one of the fuses on the outside disconnect box is bad. Only getting 1/2 the power. Find the bad fuse and get the same size and will be good to go. ken
