When you purchased it niether you nor the vendor from where you purchased it registered the machine on the website, it needs registeration.

Tell the salesman to get it. He should be able to get you a copy. I went online and it seems that there is no downloadable PDF manual for that particular model. Here is the page for your machine:

Sounds like you just need a new monitor. You can buy them used very cheap. Good luck

Try to connect the monitor to the VGA-output port of some other desktop or notebook computer. If it does not work, then it needs repair or replacement. If the monitor still under warranty:
* standard 1-year warranty from Gateway
* extended warranty that you may have purchased from Gateway
* extended warranty that some credit-cards offer for items purchased with that card
* extended warranty that you may have purchased from the retailer

If not, it's probably cheaper to replace a 15" or 17" or 19" monitor
that it would be to try to repair it.

You have to set it up for your internet service just like it's a new machine.

Usually printers are shipped without USB cables.
There is no particular cable you need for your printer.
It is a standard USB printer cable which you can ask for at your local computer store.
