Connecting to Netflix with a Roku video player

That Roku box you are using is very old so netflix may not be supported anymore. It also could be your internet connection it could be to slow to connect to netflix if so you may won't to try to connect your Roku player directy into your router or moden with a inthernet cable if possible If you are using wifi you may have to move the Roku as close to the Router as possible maybe its not getting a strong signal. One thing to is that if multiple people are on the internet at the same time it can slow down the internet.

Do you have an Internet connection? Needs to be close to router to receive WiFi signal. Would have had to login in to service account on Roku device to get NetFlixs

You probably need to register your account. It was probably just using a trial account.

Move the Roku and wireless router closer

If your Roku is working properly, and will not connect to Netflix. Access your Netflix account through the internet on your home computer. Check the size of your instant que and if over 50 entry's, start deleting your que. The Roku can not handle over 50.

It seems that the wireless connection between the router and the ROKU is broken due to which you are not able to see the video. i am not sure about the settings of the ROKU but if you want then i can take the remote access of your computer and try checking the configuration of your router and roku (if possible)

You must on your Roku player & Your laptop.
Play netflix again then its says enter code .


Follow these steps

1. Sign in to your netflix account on your pc then you see right hand on the top of side my account & help click there.

Scroll down & you got these options on the page.

WATCHING INSTANTLY ON YOUR TV OR COMPUTER

* Activate a Netflix ready device

then click here you get code. You should paste this code to your roku netflix.

Connect the modem to the router and the router to the roku player(wired/wireless)

Restart the roku player and check if you are able to see the welcome screen
If yes configure the settings on the player
Choose the network type,if wireless enter the security mode after connecting to the network
Then link the roku player and then activate your netflix account

If No then change the input on the television using the television remote

Then proceed as mentioned above
