Use the flash when you take pictures at night, indoors, or outdoors in heavy shadows. You can chose what flash mode, by pressing several times on the little button on top of the camera where the lightening logo is. One of the settings is flash off. Make sure it is not in that mode, because even when it is dark the flash won't fire. The other modes are flash, fill in flash and red eye reduction flash.

Autosence your printer by turning it off and then hold down the feed button while turning it on and release feed button when light flashes red.

Because of the high voltage inside the camera, that will have to be sent to Canon for repair.

You need to take it in for repair...some cameras can be dropped with minimal damage but not yours.

This error is shown when the camera can not charge the flash compasitor in the camera it can be fixed with a new flash circuit.

Anyone found a soluton for this? My Ixus 700 worked fine one day, but the next the flash wont go off. The little flash icon is showing on LCD and the red eye reduction lights as well but the camera wont tae the picture!

I dont follow this one Does the flash work at all? It sonds like t bad connection if it only works when it is off and wont work if it is on Canon Canon Technical Support may know about this one.
