I took the oven door off of my GE JGB645SEK3SS kitchen range - then mistakenly sprung the hinges. How do I reset them?

The hinges would have to be pried out of the slots and clamped in the open position to allow the door to be reinstalled. Door removal is never recommended maintenance.

OVEN DOOR HINGE

Possible that the door hinges have accumulated dirt on the hinges or the joints within or the gaps on the hinges. Please wash off dirt and food particles , use a WD 40 to clean the hinges and try.
If not also try to remove and reset with the correct alignement after washing the hinges with diesel or kerosene and oiling them.

Door to oven does not close completely - how do I access the door hinge to check or replace it?

Open oven door. Flip metal holder down at hinge to lock hinge. Lift door with hinge attached up slightly and off oven. Reverse to re-install door, making sure notch at bottom of hinge is hooked in frame of oven properly.

GE Oven door lock 'engaged' while door was open and door will not close - how do I release the lock?

If your oven door has gotten bent or warped (maybe you rested something heavy on it...), you need to remove the door, disassemble it, and straighten it. You can lift most oven doors off of their hinges by opening the door several inches to its first "stop," and lifting the entire door straight up. If the hinges have become worn, damaged, or bent, you probably need to replace them. We recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, to prevent uneven wear of the undamaged hinge.

I took the oven door off my oven and I cannot get it back on

Once you have the hinges open to the first stop keep wiggling it back and forth...it will drop down.

Door won't close properly

Very common problem, when door is not closing all the way. You need to pull it out a few inches and readjust hinges on each side.

Omega oven model number is OO910XA

If it is a common problem with Omega, they may not be ready to admit it. Since it occured 2 times, possibly the hinges use nylon rollers for smooth and quiet operation, but the hinges are not well shielded from the hi heat of 500-600 degrees and the nylon parts fail after a few months constant heat exposure. There is a common problem that happens with oven doors when they do not seam to close tight: besides being old and normally worn, if a door is leaned on while it is open, the hinges could be stretched and then they will never allow the door to close tight. This has happened to many ovens regardless of age, and the customer never realized that the weight or pressure they applied to the door when in the open position has done damage; yet they wunder why the door does not close well. GE Profile Convention Light Bulb Not Working after Replacement

With a volt meter you must verify power to the door light switch and the light socket.
You can also unplug the oven and do this with a meter set for continuity.

"Door Locked" flashing on GE Oven JTP15 - can't unlock

The problem may very well be in one of the micro switches on the self cleaning motor bracket. These switches control the electrical flow to the heating elements. In the owners manual there is/should be a chart that lists the unlock and safety combinations. This would be your best source of information.
