in back of set model number and search for remote code from manufacturer support download

the code is 11577 for the silver remote with red button

5 digit code for the comcast red button silver remote is 21462 this pertains to Panasonic MODEL# PV-DF2704

there is an auto search method....some remotes you can hold the tv button down and then the select button simultanteously for a few seconds to make the light turn red and then proceed with codes, when you get the right code you press the select button again, the light blinks and you are done..... well with out a code its the luck of the draw..... the auto search method is similar to programming the code in....hold the tv button and the select button for a couple seconds until the tv button lights up, but instead of a code.....press the channel up button(that represents the first autosearch code), continue until the tv turns itself off and then press the select button to lock it into the remote...........if you go past the trigger point you can channel down to backtrack.... otherwise drop it in the toilet until it wont work, call the cable company and have them send out a tech with anew remote. they cant charge you for their equipment not working correctly.

what kind of comcast remote do you have please describe, black and silver, dta, and especially important what color is the OK/select button grey or red. If the Ok/select button is red the codes are 11034, 10768, if the ok select button is grey there are no codes, however you can use the search option listed below

step 1 press the tv button located at the top of the remote
step 2 press and hold the setup button located on the upper right of the remote until the tv button blinks red 2 times.
step 3 enter code 991 the tv button will blink 2 times again
step 4 alternate pressing the grey Power button then the tv button located at the top of the remote ( the tv will turn off when it finds the correct code)
step 5 press the Setup button when the tv turns off and the tv button will blink 2 times confirming the code is locked in

FYI this process can take quite some time but there is no direct code listing for the non dvr remotes.
