I just solved this problem with a converter cable I made. I put a regular 110v male plug on one end of a 3 conductor cable and a
female "dedicated 110v" plug on the other end. A short pig tail.
I got the wrong configuration of plug first, for a 220v/20a. The 110v "dedicated plug" is opposite of the 220v/20a plug so look at it close! The vertical slot in on the left side of the female plug.
I found a single plug that I could have used as a replacement for the regular 2 gang plug like that's in most wall boxes but I really needed 2 outlets at that wall box so the converter cable worked great.
Now, all I've got to do is get the e-710 rip to work. I can't get it to send a test print to the copy side. It rips it and the green light flashes and then out. Nothing happens! HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is 110v but a 20 amp circuit.
Here is the specification sheet for that machine. Look at the power section.
