No signal monitor - M LG Televison & Video

I see two things here, but need clarification;

1) Monitor goes to Power Saver Mode, then turns -> OFF?

Sure that monitor didn't go into Standby Mode?

2) Why are you performing a restore back to factory settings?
Pick up a virus?

Primer;
The monitor receives a signal. A video signal. The video signal comes from the computer.

If the monitor is NOT receiving a video signal, then the monitor will state No Signal.
This is for older monitors.

New monitors do not state No Signal anymore.
It's Power Saver Mode, or Sleep Mode.

If the monitor is truly OFF, the Power On button will Not be lit up.
Or the Power On LED light on the monitor.

Monitor power on LED is lit, or Power On button is lit?

Monitor is not receiving a video signal;

Use a monitor cable from a KNOWN to be working monitor, for a temporary test.
OR,
Use a Known to be working monitor, and it's monitor cable.

Need to find out if monitor cable is good.

Monitor cable checks out good?

Then problem is computer.

The two leading issues with desktop computer failure, is;

1) Computer is dirty inside
2) Power Supply inside computer is bad.

The monitor needs a signal ( source), i.e., DVD, TV, to show a picture. If your monitor shows no signal then either the source is not connected or not functioning. Check the connections from the monitor to the source. Also, check that the source is functioning properly and is receiving power.

disconnect the signal cable and power on then see the massege on monitors screen "NO SIGNAL CHECK THE SIGNAL CABLE"if it appears then monitor is ok if not then monitor is faulty check the signal cable and replace it if faulty problem will be solved

"no signal" means that the monitor is not receiving a video signal from your computer or laptop. This is normal if the compouter is OFF and the monitor is ON. Is the computer still on and connected to the monitor?

This means that the monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer. When it doesn't receive a signal, it goes to sleep. You should check to make sure that the video cable is tightly connected, and also, if you have another monitor around, connect the other monitor to the computer and see if it works. It's possible that your monitor has malfunctioned.

we use the old CRT monitor made by motorola with TTL video signal and different vertical &horizontal frequency signals than monitor with vga signal.at now we can not replace crt with lcd .is there any interface to convert this crt signal to vga monitor signal for replacing the crt with lcd or vga monitor ,beacause this crt is discontinued and the quality of video is weak.if you needs the crt specification i will post it for you.thanks.

This is normal. The monitor is telling you it is not getting a signal from the computer, which is true because you've turned off the computer. The monitor power is still on, however. The monitor power is not controlled by the computer power switch. Just turn it off with its power switch after you shut off the computer.

if monitor is gave no siganl .Firstaly Check monitor Signal Cable For connected of ur system vga port. if Siganal cable is connected ur pc then Check ur System IF system is gave the Display anthore monitor . Then Proble is ur monitor signal Cable .So Plz Change Monitor Signale Cable.

no signal means there is no communication between your monitor and your system unit.check and be sure your monitor signal cable is firmly connected,if nothing happens, try the monitor on your friend's system.if no change then try and replace the monitor signal cable, eyo7 [email protected]

Most modern monitors use the Horizontal sync line to determine when to go to standby.
