Hi my panasonic pvq-m2509 tv is stuck on line mode. I think that's the one for vhs. I want to switch inputs but can't because the tv doesn't have an input button. Is there anything I can do to change the input?

Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.

Why looking for input if you dont have the remote?
Use an RF-converter between PS2 and your tv. then set the converter and the tv at channel 3 and there you will have picture.
with the RF-converter you also can connect DVD and other devices to watch pictures.
We had this problem - plus we do not have the TV connected to cable or an antennae, nor do we have a remote. You can get to the menu options by pushing "stop/eject"" and "rewind" at the same time. Then go to the "TV" sub-menu to change the type of input.
Unplugged should not have been an issue.Try this to get to AUX Down Channel select passed 2 shoud be your aux input. If nothing is plugged into the A/V input you will just get a Blue Screen. Also be aware that since the switch to Digital Over the Air Broadcasting there are no more channels, you need to hook up a converter box if your TV does not have a digital tuner,Good Luck.
Manually turn the TV on with front panel Power button. Then, with no
cassette inserted, hold Play and Rewind buttons on front of the TV for 5
seconds or more. The TV should shut off. Turn it back on and go through
the setup procedure
the tv has a intermitent problem in the power supply.or related circuit have a tech repair on your set it is repairable it could be some lose soldering due to your explanation good luck
