Timer is ok but oven not working

Hi, Try taking the back off (sometimes the have have clips)?

Is it getting power from the board when you select bake? If not I would suspect the board, especially if all else works ok. Does everything else work?

Bottom element has failed. Probably 2 screws at rear to remove & replace. Disconnect fast-ons from rear - extract element - replace. best to get electrician to do this - simple job & element should be inexensive. - Rick

Unfortunately, it sounds like your heating element broke. Suggest using an ohm meter to make sure of that before you replace.

The good news is that element is pretty easy to replace and not very expensive either. Just make sure to trip the circuit breaker BEFORE you attempt the remove and replace.

I HAVE A ZANUSSI ZCG7690XN DOUBLE OVEN. THE CLOCK IS NOT WORKING AND I CANT USE THE BOTTOM OVEN EVEN THOUGH THE IGITION IS SOUNDING IT WONT LIGHT. I CAN STILL LIGHT THE TOP OVEN AND THE RINGS FINE. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP. AWAIT IN HOPE. REGARDS MO

I have this exact same oven and this "feature" annoys me no end. To turn it off ... turn the clock dial to PAST the time that the timer dial shows. EG: If your timer dial is showing 6, turn the clock dial so that it rolls past 6 o'clock. This will pop out the timer dial and thus turn off the timer, allowing you to use the oven normally.

To stop accidentally pushing/turning that timer dial, I removed the knobs. Good luck.

If the fan is working, then it is pretty safe to assume that it is the element that is faulty..
If the thermostat was faulty, you would normally get the oven heating, albeit at the wrong temp.
If the temp indicator lights up, that shows the stat is working.

This is how I reset my U1420NOGB/FD7907 NEFF double electric oven that I inherited also without an instruction book.
There are 4 buttons in a row and then a timer knob that moves left and right.The first button is black,second has an arrow,,third has an arrow and fourth a hand symbol on it.Hold down together, the black button and the arrow button next to it.Without releasing either,twist the timer knob clockwise(to the right)until correct time is showing.Do not release the other buttons at all ,until time is ok.If you miss correct time keep going ,dont go backwards.When time is correct,,release black and arrow buttons and auto will stop flashng ,and oven work.If auto doesn,t stop flashing at this point press the button with hand symbol (manual)on it once.
