3rd line: Main unit status when the error occurred (0: Activating, 2: BD control 1, 3: BD control 2, 4: Changing the speed, 3: Operating steadily)
4th line: Polygon control status (0: Suspension, 1: FG rotation, 2: BD control 1, 3: BD control 2, 4: BD Control 3, 5: BD control 4, 6: Phase locked)

In most cases you need to replace laser unit, but first, you need to check all the connections between electronic board and laser unit.

HOW TO CLEAN THE ERROR CODE

heater shows power, I had to replace three mother board according to tec. Still no sign of egniting. All it does is shows code of bd? what is that? do i need to reset something. help prices are killing me.

I had the same problem and looked on other forums.

Many people had said they had success simply giving the door a moderately hard thump! I was skeptical, but prepared to give it a go, so I administered a swift kick to the door.

Lights and action, everything back to normal. Hilarious! This seriously worked - at least give it a go before you bother with anything fiddly or expensive.

Apparently this model has issues with faulty door locking.

Poor contact of the connector terminals. Defective LSU. Defective main PCB.
Check the connection of connector CN18 on the main PCB and the continuity across the connector terminals. Remedy or replace if necessary. Replace the LSU. Replace the main PCB and check for correct operation.

sounds like door lock issue but probably not lock itself remove top (3 screws) along back of top ..at rear of machine is control board ..if you are hearing a clicking noise at time door is supposed to be locking try wiggling connectors on control bd if i remember they are the pink wires if door locks then you have a bad connection on control bd may try wedging something under connector to help hold in place but only true fix is a control bd..good luck
