When camera power is switched on, it makes the usual the usual music tone , then goes beep beep, then switches off again, but also refuses to let lense open before the beep beep tone. the camera is fully charged and is only three months old. Can u help with this problem? i try to power on the camera it beeps and shuts off again

called samsung s800 have know power problems return for replacement before warranty expires or they will charge you 58 to fix

If you've tried the suggestions for similar problems on here - use NiMH or lithium batteries (not alkalines), then it may be a warantee job. Afraid I don't have any other suggestions.

You have dirt trapped in the lense mechanism. use compressed air can to blow it out then turn camera off ans slap it into the palm of your hand a few times and turn on again to test if it has cleared. This is not a joke it actually works. Lots of these types of cameras suffer from this problem and I have fixed them using this method. Passed on By a Canon Tech!!! It certainly worked for mine . Be persistent some work immediately others take several goes of blowing and slapping face down
